CRRC GUANGDONG CO., LTD. is set up by CRRC NANJING PUZHEN CO., LTD. and Guangdong Provincial Railway Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. On June 1st, 2010, CRRC GUANGDONG was established with a registered capital of CNY 1 billion, of which 51% shares are held by CRRC NANJING PUZHEN CO., LTD., and 49% by Guangdong Provincial Railway Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. The company is mainly engaged in manufacturing and maintenance of rolling stocks and relevant industrial services as well as import and export businesses of rolling stocks.
CRRC GUANGDONG is located in Xinhui District, the beautiful hometown of a great quantity of overseas Chinese in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, which has beautiful scenery and outstanding people’s glory. The road and the rail transit’s network are well developed in the perimeter of the plant area. Jiangmen Waterway and Tianma Port, a Class 1 port of the country, are nearby, which are connected with South Jiangmen Station of the Guangzhou-Zhuhai Railway. Therefore, the company enjoys exceptional advantages of geographical conditions.
The planning area of the CRRC GUANGDONG manufacturing base is about 1500 Mu. According to the phase 1 project of CRRC GUANGDONG, the newly manufactured motor train unit consists of 400 vehicles/year, 65 trains/year for Grade 3 repair, and 35 trains/year respectively for Grades 4 and 5 repairs. Long term CRRC GUANGDONG will achieve a production capacity with 700 vehicles /year, 130 trains/year for Grade 3 repair, and 65 trains/year for Grades 4 and 5 repairs.
